The first day of Autumn...

Just floating along with a tight grip on my make believe world...

Erin Smith

I can't tell you enough how wonderful it was to see you last Thursday at Cotton Etc. You mean the world to me even though it's all make believe, it still has the allure that it always did...designing jewelry. But your validation gives me the energy to keep creating. I've done the repairs, designed your work and now ready to see you again at Cotton Etc, tomorrow, Thursday 9/22 from 12-4:00. As the fall quickly approaches, I wanted to give you a heads up about some events I'm doing. LeMoyne's Art and Soul fundraiser https://www.lemoyne.org/artandsoul.html, entitled, de Espãna con amor. I'm making a piece that was inspired by my trips to Mexico, not Spain, but I love Spain, too. It's a "flaming heart" that's inspired by Frida Kalho. Mexico is closer than Spain so my forays into Mexico have been more frequent. Mexico City is a gem and if you haven't ventured there, put it on your bucket list. The part of Mexico still on my bucket list is the Sea of Cortez. I want to see it before I die. It beckons me. Okay, enough of that. I'm so excited that I got invited into the Arts in Destin show on Oct. 29/30th. I'm working towards that show as well as the Artisans in the Garden on November 5th. So, heads up, I'm busy but I would not be busy without all of your support. See you mañana as always, Quincie
