Mechele’s Charm necklace in the making… First, I used a vintage Turkish chain, and made a sterling silver clasp that I attached it to the chain. Then I sorted through the bits and pieces of her parents Native American Jewelry and placed everything that I wanted to use on a paper plate. Next I decided that the focal piece would be this inlay turquoise and coral agate, as well as the color combination that carried through the necklace.
