LeMoyne's Art & Soul Celebration - my contribution

IMG_0936.JPG

The African mask can represent many things--spirits of animals or ancestors--or it can be a way of honoring of a person in a symbolic way. Today, in the middle of this pandemic, our masked faces are symbolic of how we protect and care for each other. I honor Charles Tunnicliff with this African, masked necklace. Charles’ jovial nature and undaunted courage over the years as he tackled the Chain of Parks has and always been a gift to LeMoyne Arts, as well as the community. So, all I can do today is show you through this necklace what Charles Tunnicliff means to me.
